Marina Solution
SOLUTION OVERVIEW
ITSmax offers a solution for the management of marinas which is comprehensive, easy to use, and permeable to changes. The portal is centralized for any type of user and is entirely web based. Therefore, no external app or program has to be downloaded for the system to function, whether the user is a customer or an administrator.
Given that the solution is offered on the web, accessing it is as simple as clicking on the URL. The portal is available on any type of device, whether it is a mobile device or a fixed work post. Moreover, it works on every browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, Opera, etc.).
CLIENT ACCOUNTS
Clients of the marina will be invited to create their user account, in which they will have access to all of their tools, receipts, and any other pertinent information.
Hosted on Azure, the security of their account is a notion that we hold to heart. Thus, accounts from all users are protected by a two-factor authentication, and newly registered account must confirm their creation via their e-mail address. They will first need to accept the terms and conditions of the service, without which they won’t be able to finish the account creation process.
On the platform, clients will be able to enter all of their information (address, e-mail, phone number, etc.) alongside those that partake to their boat (hull material, length, width, insurance number, etc.). They’ll be able to proceed with demands such as launching, dock reservation, winter storage, and more. They will even have the possibility to make a membership demand if they are visitors.
Clients will have access to their bills AND to do their payment either online, or on a sales point terminal at the marina. These transactions are protected and carried through Moneris and Global Payment. Every time a client receives a new bill, they will be immediately informed about it by e-mail.

ADMINISTRATION
Client management
Those in charge of the marina can easily search and identify clients on their platform thanks to a table where they are all tallied up. On it, they will have access to the name of the clients, their boat information, their reservation demands, etc. Receipts will even be shown with a colour code allowing for a quick overview of those that haven’t been fully paid yet. Also, accounts that have been created but that are still waiting for the e-mail confirmation will be bolded and be shown in maroon.
Administrators can modify the status of a client to change them, for instance, from visitor to full member.
Finally, admins have the possibility to modify certain mutable information on their clients’ account. This can be particularly useful to provide assistance to those who aren’t all too tech savvy.

Bills management
Possibility to create online bills for clients. Many options are given during the creation of a bill, including the list of products, alongside the possibility to give back a credit. Every bill created informs the clients by e-mail.
Administrator can make a quick survey of all created bills for their clients, with emphasis on those that haven’t been paid, or have only been partially paid. Each bill is printable in PDF format, and the invoice history is preserved. Administrators have many tools and filters to find a particular bill.

Slips management
Administrators have the option to create sites for their marina. For each of these sites, they’ll be able to give it a name, an address, a description, and any other information deemed important. They will even be able to upload a picture of their site, on which they’ll be able to add and place slips.
This map, paired with the slips on it, will give a convenient overview of the place. Administrator will thus be able to make a simple visual survey to find the available slips for a dock location, clients that still have payments to do, docks that are currently broken, etc. Moreover, because of its deep management nature, admins will have access to a multitude of filters to search and find a client, including their schedule and availability of their slip.
These maps are split by season. This makes it so project managers can have an overview of their site from previous years, and allow them to prepare slips for the upcoming years.
Sites management, with its powerful visual support, makes everything much easier for those in charge. Thanks to all of those tools available for them, admins will be able to swiftly scrounge through their sites, and find what they’re looking for by minimizing their number of clicks.

Other administrative tools
The portal offers a plethora of tools to admins to allow them to manage their marinas as easily as they can. They have, to name a few:
- • An history of administrator actions. This allows to uphold some responsibility when a person in charge performs a manipulation on the website. An admin can thus easily find who did what, exactly on which date they did it, through their account name and/or their e-mail address.
- • A calendar of slip location for visitors. It is based on the available slips in the marina, or on the slips for which the members declared an absence. Therefore, if a member leaves to take a vacation with their boat outside of the marina, the system will be informed, and the calendar will free a space for rent, ensuring that the marina operates as effectively as possible.
- • A manager for boat launching. Clients declare their preferred dates for launching their boat when a Summer season begins, and admins can then decide to approve or deny these demands. They can even modify them, and have access to the client’s phone number and e-mail address to inform them about it. These clients will receive an e-mail once their demand has been approved/modified/rejected.
- • Terms and conditions, which can be updated or modified with a dedicated tool.
- • And even more!
